Chapter 5 — Still Lifes Tabletop Photography: Classic to Experimental

Still life photography allowed me to slow down even further — to build scenes deliberately, control every variable, and explore the quiet drama of form and texture. These images range from traditional arrangements to more experimental constructions, each shaped by careful attention to light, balance, and detail.

The discipline of still life work sharpened my eye for subtlety and composition. Those skills now inform my most recent photographs, where all the threads — landscape, cityscape, portraiture, and object study — begin to converge.
