Fubbles

I have always enjoyed the experimantal aspect of photography, different techniques to produce interesting results. Sometimes missing the mark in camera though and using post processing techniques later to get the desired effect.

My girlfriend loves bubbles, and we took a bubble wand to the beach, i had in my head what i wanted the desired result to be. Due to the fact i was still slightly inexperienced, trying to cature motion on a sunny day with out nd filters proved futile.

But taking one of the images and applying a motion blur in post made this image a keeper, especially for me to remeber the fun we had that day.

The Pier Performer

Visitng Fort De Soto was one of my favorite things to do while living in the Gulf coast of florida.

Form sunsets to sunny days, whether or not you got a keeper was irrelavent as you were at the beach right?

There are two piers, the gulf and the bay, this is a photo captures one sunny day of a snowy egret pearch on a concrete pillar, with the bait shop / snack bar in the background, two tourist making the same observation I was, admiring this white plumed beauty of a bird!
