Koeman Confirms Everton Midfielder Will Go Club
Everton midfielder Ross Barkley will certainly leave Goodison Park in the transfer market this summer, although there has been no offer for the England international. It was expressed lansgung by The Toffees manager, Ronald Koeman.
Barkley is a native telecast of Eeverton’s academic upbringing. He also several times had time to display outstanding performance as a central midfielder.
But his future began to look bleak on the Merseyside Blue. Koeman himself is looking for a new midfielder to strengthen his midfield, with Swansea midfielder Gylfi Sigurdsson becoming his favorite.
When asked if Barkley was certain to leave, Koeman replied:
“Yes. His personal situation is not so difficult, we made a very good offer for a new contract, he refused the contract and told me at the end of last season that he was looking for a new challenge. ”
“It’s his decision, I need to respect him and we’ll see what happens, because I heard from the club board that there’s no offer so far for Ross.”
“My priority is not Ross, with respect, this is his decision.”
“I pay more attention to other players, he has a one-year contract, we work respectfully, if he goes back to training, he will be part of the first team training,” said the Dutchman.
Everton have been spending quite a lot of players in the transfer market this summer. Names that have been imported also can not be considered trivial, ranging from Michael Keane, Wayne Rooney, Sandro Ramirez, to Jordan Pikford.
And Koeman kept a slight interest in adding Sigurdsson to his list of recruits.
“Of course we have an interest in that player. But I still do not know, “said the former Barcelona defender. (Source: Four Four Two)
